Perficient Digital Wins DotCOMM Platinum Awards for Creating Visually Innovative Web Experiences

SAINT LOUIS (Sept. 12, 2018) Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT) (“Perficient”), the leading digital transformation consulting firm serving Global 2000® and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced that its agency, Perficient Digital, received three DotCOMM Awards.

The agency received a Platinum Award in Interactive Capabilities for Explore Gallagher Way, a web experience that showcases Wrigleyville’s new year-round family-friendly destination adjacent to Wrigley Field. Perficient Digital also received a Platinum Award in Website Design for the Marquee Sports and Entertainment website. Marquee Sports and Entertainment is a new sports marketing agency that helps brands, partners and customers intersect at the heart of sports, music and entertainment. Both properties are based in Chicago and owned by the Ricketts family.

The third award received by Perficient Digital is a Gold Award for work completed for CURT Manufacturing. The international competition honors excellence in web creativity and digital communication with categories that represent elements of the web’s evolving tools.

To stand out among competitors in the dynamic digital experience space, even for some of the most powerful players, requires an innovative approach that pushes the limits and engages clients in new and unique ways. Recognizing the need to transform how they communicate and market their brands, Hickory Street Capital and Marquee Sports and Entertainment each sought to drive customer engagement online by placing people virtually inside the brand experience.

Perficient Digital, and its design and innovation studio, Perficient Digital Labs, collaborated with Hickory Street Capital on the Gallagher Way website to showcase the physical space through an innovative 3D tour of the grounds, including area shops and hotel space, and a dynamic calendar with multiple views and filtering of the day’s events to help convert web traffic into foot traffic.

"As a result of Perficient Digital’s capabilities in web technology, and our ability to provide unprecedented custom solutions, the website for Gallagher Way was launched on their opening day and since then, the site has received thousands of impressions and brought community members together for hundreds of events,” said Ed Hoffman, Perficient’s vice president of Digital Experience Solutions.

"The design and development of the 3D map page of the Gallagher Way website was critical to the project, because at the time the physical space was still under construction,” said Dan Thompson, director of emerging technology at Perficient Digital Labs. “We wanted people to be able to digitally preview the grounds, so we came up with a clever way of showcasing the area utilizing the actual architectural drawings. We were able to enhance the experience by letting people dive into the actual location and feel what it was like to be on the street level. This is one of the reasons we won the award."

The Marquee Sports and Entertainment website features 360-degree photo panorama functionality that enables visitors to preview each of the venues to get a sense of the scope and feel for the location, an immersive experience that goes beyond a traditional website’s photo gallery.

The project receiving Gold honors in the DotCOMM Awards, the CURT Manufacturing website, is a new site built by Perficient Digital that provides dealers with self-service tools to help them with their day-to-day business. CURT Manufacturing is the leading manufacturer of USA-made hitches and a complete line of towing products.
