Xiao Guo

Xiao Guo brings over two decades of experience in technology, digital transformation, and organizational leadership. Before joining Perficient, Guo served a 25-year tenure at ThoughtWorks — a global technology consultancy recognized for its pioneering work in agile software development and cloud-native solutions—including the last 11 years as the CEO.

After joining ThoughtWorks as a software engineer in 1999, he went on to hold several leadership roles, before being named CEO in 2013. During his leadership, Guo more than tripled the size of the business, developed long-term client relationships, expanded client service offerings, and made ThoughtWorks a destination for the top technologists. His commitment to building an inclusive organization earned the company multiple awards and widespread recognition for workplace excellence.

A recognized thought leader in digital transformation, Guo is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to help organizations achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage. Guo has also co-authored The Digital Transformation Game Plan with Gary O’Brien and Mike Mason, on how to drive business value from digital transformations.

Guo is based in Chicago.
